Case Study: Displacing a Legacy Agency & Doubling Inquiries for a Multi-Clinician Practice
Trapped in an expensive retainer with a large legacy marketing agency, a multi-specialist counseling practice was losing prospective patients to a 4.5-second mobile load time. Bigfoot rebuilt their platform on edge architecture, doubling booked client consultations in 60 days.
Local medical clinics, counseling practices, and specialized healthcare providers depend heavily on local search. When patients seek care, they need answers immediately—not after waiting 5 seconds for a sluggish page to load.
### The Challenge: The High-Cost Legacy Agency Trap
A respected multi-specialist clinical practice in Northwest Houston had been partnered for years with a large, traditional marketing agency. Despite paying thousands of dollars in monthly retainers, the practice's website was built on a heavy, plugin-laden CMS that took over 4.5 seconds to load on mobile phones. Prospective patients were bouncing back to Google before they ever saw the clinic's phone number or booked an intake session.
### The Bigfoot Solution
Bigfoot Build Studio migrated the clinic off the legacy monolith and onto our custom high-speed edge architecture:
• **Instant Mobile Booking (Sub-50ms Response):** Eliminated the 4.5-second load barrier, making 11 clinician profiles and interactive Therapist Matcher routing appear instantaneously on cellular networks.
• **Specialty-Specific Semantic Architecture:** Mapped each specialized modality—including EMDR Therapy, IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback, Brainspotting, and Couples Counseling—directly into Google's Knowledge Graph.
• **Hyper-Localized Map Pack Optimization:** Engineered 15 dedicated suburban corridor hubs across Cypress, Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Copperfield, Tomball, Katy, and The Woodlands.
### The 60-Day Result: 100% Increase in Inquiries
Within 60 days of launch:
1. **2x Patient Intake Growth:** Monthly new client inquiries doubled, with 83+ verified interactive intake matcher completions.
2. **Dominant Google 3-Pack & AI Citations:** Claimed top-3 Map Pack visibility across Northwest Houston ZIP codes and generated 3,480+ verified AI crawler citations across Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude.
3. **Dramatic Cost Reduction:** Eliminated expensive legacy agency retainer overhead while achieving measurably superior patient acquisition numbers.
When you remove digital friction, patients get the care they need faster, and local practices thrive.
